Building Jewish resilience for a complex world
The Maccabee Project brings together global Jewish thinkers and leaders to counter hate, misinformation, and instability—and to build a strong and inspired Jewish future.
→ DonateOur Purpose
The Maccabee Project was founded to help Jews everywhere respond to the global movements that demonize, delegitimize, and destabilize our people.
Our mission is to strengthen preparedness, unity and crisis response across the Jewish world.
To achieve this, we are engaging with thought leaders across industries, academia, media, politics, and the religious sphere. Their insights will form the foundation for innovative strategies to fortify the readiness and responsiveness of Jewish communities everywhere. Our responsibility is to improve the state of affairs for both current and future generations.
The Challenge We Face
October 7th shattered the sense of security for Jews across the globe. Israelis were blindsided by Hamas’ brutal attack, and Jews in the Diaspora were stunned by the wave of hateful rhetoric and violence that followed.
Despite our many allies, support for the Jewish people has eroded, leaving us increasingly isolated from extremists on both sides of the political spectrum. The Maccabee Project seeks to change the narrative—to create a structure for crisis response, to develop more strategic approaches to antisemitism and antizionism, and to strengthen Jewish identity and unity.
Our Method
We are identifying and consulting with elite global thinkers—intellectuals, military leaders, scholars, strategists, and innovators—to understand how the Jewish people can become more unified and respond effectively to crises.
Through a series of interviews with these leaders, our team will develop actionable frameworks that enhance the readiness, responsiveness, and unity of Jewish communities worldwide.
Our Inspiration
Throughout history, the Jewish people have turned moments of crisis into turning points for renewal. After the destruction of the First Temple (586 BCE), Jewish leaders established the prayers and traditions that sustain us to this day. After the destruction of the Second Temple (70 CE), another group compiled the Oral Law, forming the foundation of modern Judaism.
In both eras, visionary leaders recognized existential threats and came together to chart a sustainable path forward. The Maccabee Project draws from this same spirit: coming together at a moment of upheaval to rebuild strength and continuity for the generations ahead.
Our Vision
We believe that unity, preparedness, and strategic cooperation can protect and sustain the Jewish people in the face of growing global threats. Our work aims to:
Drive Jewish unity
Protect Jewish communities
Build alliances
Create stability
